Welcome to Old Pearl Game Management, a family-friendly deer club located just 10 miles south of Florence, Mississippi in the extreme Northwest corner of Simpson County—about 30 minutes from Jackson.
Our club spans approximately 5,000 acres of timber company and private land, featuring a diverse mix of pine thickets, cutovers, and hardwood bottoms. While we are primarily a deer and turkey hunting club, members also enjoy opportunities to harvest a hog.
Old Pearl has participated in Mississippi’s Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) for more than 25 years. Our commitment to quality deer herd management has produced bucks in the mid-140-inch and occasional 150-inch class—an exceptional size for this soil region.
The club maintains approximately 45–60 camp food plots, each with a camp stand available on a first-come, first-served basis. Private food plots are not permitted; however, members may place private stands in areas away from camp plots.
We work hard to make hunting enjoyable for the entire family, with special emphasis on youth participation. Each family membership is allowed for two bucks, with the possibility of earning a bonus buck. Bucks must meet a minimum inside spread of 15 inches or a main beam length of 20 inches.
Youth and spouses are encouraged to hunt. A youth hunter’s first buck may be a buck of choice and does not count toward the family membership’s buck limit. Any additional bucks must meet all camp harvest rules.
Please visit our Membership page to review complete club rules, harvest guidelines, and membership information.
