OPGM is a family-friendly deer club located 10 miles South of Florence MS (about 30 minutes outside of Jackson). It is situated on approximately 5,500 + acres of both Timber Company and Private land. It is a mixture of pine thickets, cutovers and hardwoods. We are primarily a deer and turkey hunting club. But with the growing population of hogs we have had a few of those as well as a few dove hunts. The club has been on a Deer Management Program for over 15 years and have produced deer in the mid 140’s class which is an above average size for the soil region. We have about 40 - 50 camp food plots. Each one has a camp stand and are on a first come first serve basis. There are no private food plots allowed but private stands are allowed on areas away from camp plots. We strive to make hunting enjoyable for the entire family with special emphasis on youth. Our DMAP program allows for 2 bucks per family membership with a possible bonus buck. A minimum inside spread of 15 inches or main beam length of 20 inches. Youth and spouses are encouraged to come and hunt. A youth’s first buck can be a buck of choice without counting toward the membership’s buck bag limit. Additional bucks must meet camp rules. OPGM guest fees are $25.00 per day with a maximum of 3 full days. You can review the club rules and guidelines on our Membership page.
